Built in 1988 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2006/2007, the modern low rise Sotavento complex has a total of 72 one bedroomed self catering apartments which are built over 2 floors and set amidst 2,800m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens overlooking a central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a combined kitchen/lounge area with two additional sofa beds, safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant with show cooking, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, a games room and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section and spacious sun terraces and gardens furnished with loungers and parasols.
