Built in 1959 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1998, the modern low rise Pollensamar complex is a small development of 20 one bedroom self catering apartments which are built over 4 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces around a small central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette as well as a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guests staying at the Pollensamar Apartments are welcome to use the facilities at the nearby Hotel Bahia which includes a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services along with luggage rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services, a bar-cafeteria offering a snack menu and breakfast service, as well as an a la carte restaurant on the edge of the beach noted for it's fish specialties.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
