Public Transport - Galeras Routes and TimetablesThe most elegant way to see the sights of Palma is by galera, which are open top horse-drawn carriages. The very knowledgeable drivers can take you through the labyrinth of narrow streets, pointing out several fine churches and monasteries, small squares and magnificent mansions en route. The galeras always at stand along the Avenida Antoni Maura and Palau Reial, or just flag one down in the street. The prices they charge are regulated by the Palma City Council and will be displayed. However, for a 1 hour tour of the city you should normally expect to pay somewhere in the region of 40€.
