Built in 1984 and fully refurbished during the winter of 1997, the Los Tamarindos complex has a total of 44 self catering apartments and studio flats that are built over 6 floors. All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a kitchenette with fridge, cooker, toaster, microwave oven, coffee pot and dishes, as well as a combined lounge/dining room with satellite television, direct dial telephone and either terrace or balcony, most of which have either pool or mountain views. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a reception area with currency exchange services, along with a luggage room and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, a games room, as well as a buffet style restaurant lounge bar. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include an outdoor freshwater swimming pool with sun terraces furnished with loungers and parasols.
