Built in 1969 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999/2000, the modern Hotel Sol Trinidad has a total of 375 guest rooms, including 368 standard twin rooms and a further 7 singles, which are built over 9 floors and set amidst 664m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, ceiling fan, satellite television, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a number of guest rooms at the Hotel Sol Trinidad have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini-club, along with a smaller indoor heated pool, which is open each year from the end of October until April, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Sol Trinidad also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
