Built in 1973 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2008, the modern Hotel Sol Guadalupe has a total of 493 standard twin rooms, which are built over 9 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, for families travelling with small children, the hotel also provides a 24 hour self service kitchenette, dry cleaning and laundry service, and all rooms are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals, a games room, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Sol Guadalupe also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 50 people, which is equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment including screens, overhead projectors and a microphone.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, and spacious gardens and sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini-club along with both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Sol Guadalupe also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
