Built in 1970 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2003, the Hotel Playa Golf has a total of 222 guest rooms, including 24 single rooms, 186 doubles and a further 12 Junior Suites, which are built over 7 floors and set amidst 4,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, mini bar, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Playa Golf also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 100 people, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the seafront promenade that are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated pool with slide, along with a gymnasium, Turkish Bath and sauna, as well as 3 hard surface tennis courts, a mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.
