Built in 1975 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the Hotel Oleander has a total of 271 guest rooms, including 28 single rooms and a further 243 doubles, which are built over 7 floors and set amidst 1,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Oleander also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens that are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated pool, open during the cooler winter months, with Jacuzzi and sauna, along with both pool and table tennis tables.

Of special interest to cyclists, the Hotel Oleander also has a specially adapted area for storing, maintaining and repairing bicycles, which is equipped with individual security fittings, as well as a selection of basic cleaning and repair tools.

The Hotel Oleander also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
