Built in 1969 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999/2000, the modern Hotel Linda Playa has a total of 162 guest rooms, including 151 twin rooms and a further 11 singles, which are distributed between 2 six storey buildings and set amidst 1,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bar, public internet terminals with WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Linda Playa also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating up to a maximum of 20 people, which is fully equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, open during the cooler winter months, along with mini golf and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Linda Playa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
