Built in 1989, the modern Hotel Lagotel has a total of 340 guest rooms, including 89 self catering apartments, 12 single rooms, 194 doubles and a further 45 family rooms, which are built over 8 floors and set amidst almost 15,000m2 of landscaped Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for hire and either a terrace or balcony, most of which have either lake or mountain views.

In addition to the above features, 6 guest rooms at the Hotel Lagotel have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, laundry and medical services, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with a separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with sun loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a well equipped gymnasium with sauna and Jacuzzi, along with a multi sports activities area for volleyball and football etc, a hard surface tennis court, a mini golf course and a children's playground.

The Hotel Lagotel also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanque, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
