Built in 1929 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2000, the Hotel Illa D'or is one of Mallorca's oldest and most traditional hotels, and has a total of 119 guest rooms, including 108 standard twin rooms, 11 singles and a further 2 Suites, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst almost 250m2 of shady Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, overlooking the magnificent Bay of Pollensa.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, satellite television, mini bar, direct dial telephone and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have either sea or garden views. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned à la carte restaurant with waiter service for the evening meal, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Illa D'or also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 70 guests, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids including, projectors, screens and high speed WiFi internet connections.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Illa D'or also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the Vital Illa d'Or Health and Beauty Centre, which features an additional indoor heated swimming pool with cardiovascular gymnasium, sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a wide selection of other cosmetic and beauty treatments including volcanic stone massage, vinotherapy and reflexology.

The Hotel Illa D'or also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with professional cabaret shows twice a week and dancing to live music once a week.
