Built in 1964 and fully refurbished during the winter of 1999, the low rise Hotel Garonda has a total of 124 guest rooms, including 108 twin rooms and a further 8 singles, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst 1,000m2 of sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, mini bar, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Garonda also offers the use of an air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 16 people, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the sea front promenade which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

In recognition of the Mac Group's high standards of customer care and management systems, the Hotel Garonda has been awarded the internationally recognised Spanish Tourism Quality Institute ´Q´ quality mark which is only granted to establishments which meet the highest standards of continuous improvement in all services.
