Part of the Hotelera Pollensina Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Daina has an enviable location overlooking the sporting marina, in a quiet pedestrianised area of the popular resort of Puerto Pollensa on the north west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 50 metres from the centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1963 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2003, the modern Hotel Daina has a total of 67 guest rooms, including 48 standard twin rooms and a further 19 singles, which are built over 7 floors. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a balcony or terraces, many of which have exterior views over the pool towards the magnificent Bay of Pollensa. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services and luggage rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned restaurant with buffet breakfast and dinner service, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, a cafeteria that opens onto the Paseo Marítimo, as well as and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor saltwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces on the edge of the sea which are furnished with loungers and parasols. The Hotel Daina also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows three times each week.
