Built in 1970 and fully refurbished during the winter of 1992, the low rise Hotel Cosmopolitan has a total of 227 guest rooms, including 210 standard twin rooms and a further 17 singles, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst almost 3,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests the Hotel Cosmopolitan also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, with the capacity to seat a maximum of 40 people, which is fully equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section and Jacuzzi, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Of special interest to cyclists the Hotel Cosmopolitan also has a specially adapted area for storing, maintaining and repairing bicycles, which is equipped with individual security fittings, as well as a selection of basic cleaning and repair tools.

Also of special interest to sports enthusiasts, the Hotel Cosmopolitan offers the use of 2 large multi-purpose courts, suitable for football and volleyball etc, along with 2 clay surface tennis courts, 5 paddle tennis courts, a mini golf course and a cardiovascular gymnasium.

The Hotel Cosmopolitan also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
