Built in 1963 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2002, the modern low rise Hotel Bella Playa has a total of 214 guest rooms, including 189 twin rooms and a further 25 singles, which are distributed between 2 four storey buildings, and set amidst 2,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, a mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a number of rooms have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bar, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated swimming pool, with Jacuzzi, sauna and gymnasium, along with a children's playground and mini club, a mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

In addition to the above leisure facilities, the Hotel Bella Playa also offers guests the opportunity to relax and unwind with a variety or massage and aromatherapy treatments including anti-stress massage, lymph drainage, sport massage, foot reflex massage and anti-cellulite treatments.

The Hotel Bella Playa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

In recognition of the high standards of customer satisfaction, the Hotel Bella Playa has been awarded the Spanish Tourism Quality Institute ´Q´ quality mark which is only granted to establishments which meet the highest standards of continuous improvement in all services.
