Originally an old 19th Century summer house, the Hotel Bahia was converted into a tourist establishment in 1960. During the winter of 2004, a further complete renovation of the hotel was carried out, which equipped all of it's 30 guest rooms with air conditioning, satellite televisions, direct dial telephones, safety deposit boxes available for rental and parquet wooden floors.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services along with luggage rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services, a bar-cafeteria offering a snack menu and breakfast service, as well as an a la carte restaurant on the edge of the beach noted for it's fish specialties.
