Built in 1958 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2003, the low rise Hotel Araxa has a total of 72 guest rooms, including 51 twin rooms and a further 21 singles, which are built over 3 floors and set amidst 1,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar, WiFi internet access and some rooms also have either a balcony or terrace with either pool or garden views. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a luggage room for late departures, a games room, public internet terminals with free WiFi connection in the lounge, an air conditioned a la carte restaurant with waiter service for lunch and dinner, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as laundry and medical services and a lounge bar.

For business guests the Hotel Araxa also offer the use of three large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool with sun terraces and grassed gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a small gymnasium with Jacuzzi and sauna.
