Built in 1970 and fully modernised during the winter of 1999, the modern low rise Aparthotel Diamant has a total of 477 guest rooms, including 304 twin rooms at the adjacent Hotel Diamant, 144 one bedroom self catering apartments and a further 29 Junior Suites, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst 10,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, apartments at the Aparthotel Diamant also have an open plan kitchenette and a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, and all guest rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club along with a 2 clay surface tennis courts, a mini golf course, pétanque court and both pool and table tennis tables.

In addition to the above leisure facilities guests staying at the Aparthotel Diamant also have the opportunity to relax and unwind with an additional indoor heated swimming pool, with Jacuzzi, gymnasium and sauna.

The Aparthotel Diamant also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
