Sotavento Apartments - Magaluf

The 3 key Sotavento Apartments are situated around 150 metres from the beach, on the Torrenova headland in the lively resort of Magaluf on the south west coast of Majorca. The apartments are approximately 20km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 400 metres from the centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife.

Built in 1988 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2014, the modern low rise Sotavento complex has a total of 72 one bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 3 floors, and set amidst almost 2,800m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with an "en suite" bathroom with large “walk in” shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with two additional sofa beds, safety deposit box available for rental, satellite television, direct dial telephone and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with public internet terminals, with high speed WiFi available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, a games room, and both lounge and pool bars.

Guests staying at the Sotavento Apartments have the opportunity to dine at the YOLO restaurant and pool bar, open each day from 09.00 until late, offering a wide range of freshly prepared food, including their famous ¨hangover cure¨full breakfast which is served all day.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Sotavento Apartments hosts regular pool parties, where their resident and guest DJ's play the best summer sounds.
