Built in 1985 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2002, the modern Sa Coma Playa complex has a total of 327 self catering apartments and studio flats, which are built over 6 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms on the complex come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and a fridge, as well as a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a reception area with currency exchange services, luggage rooms for late departures, as well as a games room, television room, buffet style restaurant and snack bar, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated swimming pool, open during the cooler winter months, as well as a sauna and both pool and table tennis tables.
