Built in 1989, the modern low rise Plazamar complex has a total of 94 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one bedroom self catering apartments and studio flats, which are distributed between 2 four storey buildings, and set amidst spacious sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, refrigerator, kettle and toaster (microwave also available on request), a combined dining/lounge area with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, all rooms are also provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a poolside snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and a comfortable lounge bar with satellite television.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club along with a multi sports activity area for football and volleyball etc.

The Plazamar Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring games, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
