The 2 key Playa Moreia Apartments are situated on the sea front in the quiet resort of
S'Illot on the central east coast of Majorca. The apartments are approximately 65km north east of the
capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre
of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1964 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2000, the modern Playa Moreia complex has a total of 133 self catering apartments and studios flats that are built over 8 floors and set amidst almost 800m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens around a large central pool area overlooking the beach. All guest rooms on the complex come equipped with a modern fully fitted bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with microwave and toaster, and a combined lounge/dining area with satellite television, ceiling fan, safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have sea views. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services and public internet terminals, along with an air conditioned buffet restaurant and snack bar, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, medical and laundry services and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available for guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with spacious terraces which are furnished with sun loungers and parasols. The Playa Moreia Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times a week.
