Built in 1974 and extensively renovated during the winter of 1995, the modern low rise Parque Mar complex has a total of 150 guest rooms, including a selection of both self catering apartments, studio flats and maisonettes, all of which are built over two floors in a traditional Spanish style, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are individually furnished and "lived in" by their owners, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette and a combined lounge/dining room with direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool towards the sea. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once each week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a reception area with currency exchange services, along with luggage rooms for late departures, laundry and medical services, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, a games room and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of three large outdoor swimming pools, including a heated saltwater pool set into the rocks, the main freshwater swimming pool and a separate children's splash pool, all of which are surrounded by spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's Mini Club and adventure playground and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Parque Mar Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring gymnastics, Tai Chi, volleyball and water polo, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
