Built in 1986 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern low rise Marins Playa complex has a total of 216 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one bedroom self catering apartments and studio flats, which are built over 4 floors, and set amidst almost 3,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a terrace or balcony, most of which have exterior views over the garden and pool area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, a supermarket, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with a separate smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, a mini golf course, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Marins Playa Apartments also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Beauty Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.

The Marins Playa Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, archery and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
