Built in 1986 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern low rise Marins Playa complex has a total of 216 self catering apartments and studio flats, which are built over 4 floors, and set amidst almost 3,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All apartments on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette and a combined lounge/dining room with direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a terrace or balcony, most of which have exterior views over the garden and pool area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access available in selected areas, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, a supermarket, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with a separate smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated pool with sauna and Jacuzzi, a children's mini club and mini golf course, as well as both pool and table tennis tables.

The Marins Playa Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring boules, archery and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
