Built in 1991 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2003, the modern low rise Aparthotel Viva Palma Nova has a total of 169 guest rooms, including 154 one bedroomed self catering apartments and a further 15 studios flats, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst 5,000m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens around a central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with 2 electric rings and fridge, a combined lounge/dining area with sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above, 4 apartments have also been specially adapted for the needs of disabled guests, and all guest rooms at the hotel are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen every 3 days.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, public internet terminals, a games room, laundry and medical services, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant, supermarket and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests the Aparthotel Viva Palma Nova also offers a choice of 3 air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, with a capacity to seat a maximum of 120 persons, all of which come equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section and spacious sun terraces and gardens furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated pool with gymnasium, sauna, Turkish bath and Jacuzzi, along with a children's mini club and playground, tennis court, putting green and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Aparthotel Viva Palma Nova also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, archery and aerobics as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
