Built in 1963 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern Hotel Vistamar has a total of 144 guest rooms, including 109 standard twin rooms, 24 singles and a further 11 Junior Suites, which are built over 7 floors, and set amidst almost 4,000m2 of sun terraces and Mediterranean style gardens, around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a terrace or balcony, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, Suites at the Hotel Vistamar also have a separate lounge area with two additional sofa beds, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of two large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Of special interest to sports enthusiasts, the Hotel Vistamar also offers the use of a large multi sports activity area, suitable for football and volleyball etc, along with a hard surface tennis court and a mini golf course.

Guests staying at the Hotel Vistamar also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Fitness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and cardiovascular gymnasium.

The Hotel Vistamar also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aqua aerobics, as well as evening entertainment in the lounge bar with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
