The small family owned Hostal Residencia Villa Columbus is situated around 120 metres from the Playa Palmira beach in the popular resort of Paguera on the south west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 35km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 100 metres from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1966 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2009, the low rise Hostal Residencia Villa Columbus has a total of 35 guest rooms, offering a choice of both standard twin and single rooms, and a further one bedroom self catering apartment, all of which are distributed between three low rise buildings overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the Hostal Residencia Villa Columbus are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, direct dial telephone, refrigerator and safety deposit box available for rental, high speed WiFi internet access, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a reception area with luggage rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, and a comfortable lounge bar.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini golf course, and both pool and table tennis tables.
