Built in 1970 and extensively renovated during the winter of 1996, the modern low rise Hotel Tucan has a total of 155 guest rooms, including 142 double rooms and a further 13 singles, which are built over 3 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area or the Cala Gran cove. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, along with a further separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Tucan also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a cardiovascular gymnasium with sauna, Turkish bath and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel Tucan also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
