The 3 star Hotel Son Baulo has a prime beach front position adjacent to a natural park and nature reserve, in the quiet residential Son Baulo district of the popular resort of C'an Picafort on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 1km east of the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1968 and fully renovated during the winter of 2005, the modern low rise Hotel Son Baulo has a total of 260 guest rooms, including 229 twin rooms, 25 singles and a further 6 Suites, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst almost 2,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and terraces overlooking the wide sandy Son Baulo beach.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a number of guest rooms have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms at the hotel are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, snack bar, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Son Baulo also offers the use of 3 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 200 people, all of which are fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large curvaceous outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the beach which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, as well as both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Son Baulo also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
