Built in 1987 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2002, the modern low rise Hotel Sol de Alcudia has a total of 220 guest rooms, including 179 standard twin rooms and a further 41 singles, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst almost 1,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Sol de Alcudia also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a Jacuzzi, sauna and power showers, as well as offering a variety of massaging treatments carried out by a highly qualified professional.

The Hotel Sol de Alcudia also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
