Built in 1969 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern Hotel Sol Cala Blanca has a total of 180 guest rooms, including 161 standard twin room, 15 singles and a further 4 Junior Suites, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini-bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, a games room and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated swimming pool, open during the cooler winter months.
