Part of the Hoteles Globales Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Santa Lucia has an enviable position situated on a small headland in one of the quieter areas of the otherwise lively resort of Palma Nova on the south west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 25km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and around 250 metres from commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1973 and extensively renovated during the winter of 1999, the modern Hotel Santa Lucia has a total of 332 guest rooms, including 299 double rooms and a further 33 singles, which are built over 8 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the Son Matias beach.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have magnificent views across the bay.

In addition to the above features, 7 guest rooms at the Hotel Santa Lucia have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with public internet terminals, a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with a separate children's section which is linked to the main pool by a bridge, and spacious sun terraces overlooking the bay which are furnished with sun loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a smaller indoor heated pool, open each year from October to the end of May, with Jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish steam room.

The Hotel Santa Lucia also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanque, archery and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
