Built in 1966 and fully refurbished during the winter of 1999, the modern low rise Aparthotel San Valentin has a total of 200 guest rooms, including 144 twin rooms, 4 singles and a further 52 one bedroom self catering apartments, which are distributed between a 5 storey main building and 3 additional four storey annexe blocks which house the apartments. The complex is then set amidst 14,000m2 of well kept Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television with music channels, a direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, apartments on the complex also have a fully equipped kitchen, along with a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, and all guest rooms are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bar, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, gymnasium and Jacuzzi, along with a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Aparthotel San Valentin also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
