The hotel is approximately 65km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, 1km from the centre of the historic Alcudia Old Town, 3km from the old Roman city of Pollentia and 3km from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1968 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern Hotel Prinsotel Mal Pas has a total of 106 twin guest rooms, which are distributed between several low rise buildings, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with sun loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.
