Built in 1989 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2004, the modern Aparthotel Ponent Mar has a total of 156 guest rooms, including 68 one bedroomed self catering apartments and a further 88 studios flats, all of which are built over 6 floors and set amidst 11,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with fridge and a combined lounge/dining area with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most over which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above, all guest rooms at the hotel are also provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, public internet terminals with WiFi access in all public areas, a games room, laundry and medical services, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant, supermarket and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests the Aparthotel Ponent Mar also offers a choice of 2 air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, with a capacity to seat a maximum of 200 persons, both of which come equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment including retro-projectors, high speed ADSL internet connections, projector for transparencies, television, video, fax service and photocopying service.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large 350m2 outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children’s section and spacious sun terraces and gardens furnished with loungers and parasols. The Aparthotel Ponent Mar also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring bowls, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
