Part of the Illot Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Playa has an enviable front line location, overlooking the beach and pedestrianised sea front promenade in the popular resort of C'an Pastilla on the central southern coast of Majorca.

The hotel is approximately 12km east of the capital Palma, 3km south of the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 300 metres from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1965 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2013, the low rise Hotel Playa has a total of 94 guest rooms, including 92 twin rooms and a further 2 singles, which are built over 5 floors overlooking the magnificent Bay of Palma.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, high speed WiFi internet access, a safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the sea.

In addition to the above features, 2 rooms at the Hotel Playa have also been adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a rooftop pool and Jacuzzi, offering guests panoramic views over the magnificent Bay of Palma.

Of special interest to cyclists, the Hotel Playa offers a specially adapted area for storing, maintaining and repairing bicycles, which is equipped with individual security fittings, as well as a selection of basic cleaning and repair tools.

The Hotel Playa also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

Please be aware that the Hotel Playa is an "Adults Only" hotel, and that all guests must be aged 18 and over at the time of arrival.
