Built in 1963 and extensively refurbished during February 2002, the modern Hotel Playa del Moro has a total of 160 guest rooms, including 136 standard twin rooms, 16 Junior Suites and a further 8 single rooms, which are built over 9 floors and set amidst almost 7,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, fridge and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views over the sea.

In addition to the above features, Junior Suites at the Hotel Playa del Moro also have a spacious lounge area, and all guest rooms are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Turkish bath and Jacuzzi, along with a Spa and Wellness Centre offering a variety of cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel Playa del Moro also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
