Built in 1970 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2001, the modern Hotel Playa Camp de Mar has a total of 249 guest rooms, including 42 single rooms, 201 doubles and a further 6 Suites, which are built over 8 floors and set amidst 2,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking the magnificent Bay of Camp de Mar.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either centrally heated or air conditioned according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television with music channel, safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, mini-bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have sea views. In addition to the above, suites also have a lounge area with sofa beds, along with tea/coffee making facilities, bathrooms with bathrobes and slippers as well as flowers and wine on arrival.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals, a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large outdoor freshwater outdoor swimming pool with spacious sun terraces overlooking the beach, which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a Jacuzzi and tennis court as well as both pool and table tennis tables.

As part of the Thomson Gold programme, the Hotel Playa Camp de Mar also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities featuring aerobics, boules and table tennis as well as evening entertainment with live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.
