Hotel Nilo - Paguera

Part of the Grupotel group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Nilo is situated around 200 metres from the Playa Palmira beach in the popular resort of Paguera on the south west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 35km west of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1959 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2006, the modern low rise Hotel Nilo has a total of 115 guest rooms, including 99 twin rooms and a further 16 singles, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst 1,000m2 of well kept Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bar, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Nilo also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, with the capacity to seat up to 50 guests, which is fully equipped with a selection of audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of two large outdoor freshwater swimming pools with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and both pool and table tennis tables.

A major feature of the Hotel Nilo is also the newly opened 600m2 Spa and Wellness Centre offering guests a variety of cosmetic and beauty treatments including a gymnasium and fitness room, several treatment cabins for massages and beauty treatments, a relaxation area with deck chairs, an interior heated pool with Aquatic Circuit, sensory showers, hydro massage Jacuzzi, sauna, inhalation bath with salt, steamed bath, infinity bath and an ice cave.

The Hotel Nilo also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
