Part of the Grupotel Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Montecarlo is situated around 300 metres from the beach in the popular resort of C'an Picafort on the north coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and 200 metres from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1971 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2006, the modern Hotel Montecarlo has a total of 169 guest rooms, including 152 twin rooms and further 17 singles, which are built over 7 floors and set amidst almost 2,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, a satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant with show cooking, offering guests a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, snack bar, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals and both pool and lounge bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Montecarlo also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 100 people, which is fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller indoor heated swimming pool, with 2 Jacuzzis, sauna and gymnasium, as well as a children's playground and mini golf, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Montecarlo also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
