Built in 1987 and fully renovated during the winter of 2004/5, the Hotel Maritimo has a total of 261 guest rooms, including 20 single rooms and 241 doubles, that are built over 7 floors and set amidst 4,000m2 of landscaped Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern fully fitted bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a terrace or balcony, most of which have either pool or garden views. In addition to the above, all guest rooms are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned restaurant serving buffet style meals, public internet terminals, games room, laundry service and both lounge and pool bars. For business guests, the Hotel Maritimo also offers a choice of two different conference and meeting rooms, with the capacity to seat up to 20 guests, both of which are equipped the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include two large outdoor freshwater swimming pools with separate children's section, which are surrounded by spacious sun terraces and gardens furnished with loungers and parasols along with a children's playground, Mini Club, two artificial grass tennis courts, as well as a beach volley court and both pool and table tennis tables.

Other leisure facilities include the newly opened 450m2 Spa & Wellness centre, offering guests an additional heated indoor swimming pool with hydromassage, along with a Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and gymnasium as well as a variety of massage treatments.

The Hotel Maritimo also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities featuring pistol shooting, archery, pool games and aerobics as well as evening entertainment with live music, cabaret and other professional shows several times each week.

In 2006, in recognition of the hotel's high standards of environmental management, the Hotel Grupotel Maritimo was also awarded the internationally renowned certification of ISO 14001:2004.
