Built in 1969 and extensively renovated during the winter of 1997, the modern Hotel Maria Eugenia has a total of 203 guest rooms, including 187 double rooms and a further 16 Suites, which are built over 7 floors, and set amidst almost 12,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, ceiling fan, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, all guest rooms at the hotel are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with public internet terminals, a games room, laundry and medical services, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large Olympic size outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, along with a multi-sports activity area for football and volleyball etc, two hard surface tennis courts, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Maria Eugenia also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring aerobics, archery and various water sports, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
