Built in 1958 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000/2001, the Hotel Mar y Pins has a total of 148 guest rooms, including 126 twin rooms and a further 22 singles, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst spacious sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Paguera.

All guest rooms at the hotel are centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bar, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the bay, which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a smaller indoor heated swimming pool, open during the cooler winter months, with Jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath, as well a children's play area and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Mar y Pins also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows twice each week.
