Built in 1978 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern low rise Aparthotel Madrigal has a total of 118 guest rooms, including 76 twin rooms and a further 42 one bedroom self catering apartments, all of which are built over 4 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, apartments on the complex also have a fully equipped kitchen along with a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, and all guest rooms are provided with a maid service undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, snack bar, public internet terminals with WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna and Jacuzzi, open during the cooler winter months, along with a children's playground and mini club, a mini golf course, a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.

Of special interest to cyclists, the Aparthotel Madrigal also has a specialist "Cyclist Corner", where guests will find all types of information relevant to cycling around the island, including maps, cartographic details of routes, routes of interest, weather forecasts, books and magazines specialising in environmental issues and other related themes, along with a specially adapted area for storing, maintaining and repairing bicycles, which is equipped with a selection of basic cleaning and repair tools.

The Aparthotel Madrigal also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
