Built in 1975 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2002/2003, the modern Hotel Luz Marina has a total of 127 guest rooms, including 120 twin rooms rooms and a further 7 singles, which are built over 6 floors and set amidst 500m2 of sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the small cove of Son Cayos.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the magnificent Bay of Palma. In addition to the above, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant with show cooking, offering guests a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a games room, snack bar, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Hotel Luz Marina also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanca, archery and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
