Built in 1967 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2002, the low rise Hotel Lux Playa Resort has a total of 236 twin rooms that are built over 5 floors, and set amidst almost 400m2 of sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the sea.

All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and cosmetic mirror, along with a direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, the hotel also has a number of Superior Rooms which are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a satellite television and bathroom with hairdryer. All guest rooms at the hotel are also provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the sea which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground, along with a hard surface tennis and volleyball court.

Guests staying at the Hotel Lux Playa Resort also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Fitness Centre, which features a cardiovascular gymnasium with sauna, Jacuzzi and Turkish bath, as well as offering a variety of other massage treatments.

The Hotel Lux Playa Resort also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
