Built in 1970 and fully refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern low rise Hotel Los Principes has a total of 306 guest rooms, including 86 one bedroom self catering apartments, 184 standard twin rooms, 22 singles and a further 14 Suites, which are distributed between three 5 storey buildings, that are built either side of the coast road, and set amidst almost 4,000m2 of landscaped Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Alcudia.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and equipped with a modern fully fitted bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have either pool, garden or sea views.

In addition to the above features, the apartments on the complex also have an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, refrigerator and microwave oven, along with a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, and all guest rooms are also provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section and Jacuzzi, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and Mini Club, along with a hard surface tennis court, mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Los Principes also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features an additional heated indoor swimming pool with waterfall, hydro-massage, inhalation bath with salt, Laconium, sauna, ice fountain, Infinity bath, sensory showers and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering five treatments cabins for massage and other cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel Los Principes also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

In 2006, in recognition of the Grupotel high standards of environmental management, the Hotel Los Principes was also awarded the internationally renowned certification of ISO 14001:2004, along with the TUI Environment Champions prize 2007 and 2008, awarded to the most environmentally friendly hotels worldwide.
