Built in 1975 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern Hotel Lagomonte has a total of 272 guest rooms, including 245 double rooms and a further 27 singles, which are built over 5 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the Lago Menor towards a small private island.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, satellite television and either terrace or balcony, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the lake. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include 24 hour reception areas with currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms with toilets and showers for late departures, along with a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, a buffet style restaurant offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include two large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with a separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, as well as a multi-sports activity area for football and volleyball etc, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Lagomonte also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring pistol shooting, pool games and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
