Built in 1964 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1998, the low rise Hotel Lago Playa Park has a total of 100 guest rooms, including 85 standard twin rooms and a further 15 singles, which are built over 5 floors and set amidst almost 40,000m2 of well kept Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, along with both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Lago Playa Park also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Fitness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool, open during the cooler winter months, with sauna, Jacuzzi and cardiovascular gymnasium.

The Hotel Lago Playa Park also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
